What to put in a bug report

The address of the tool, for example eancheck.com/barcode-identifier.
The exact code you typed. Copy it from the tool instead of typing it again, so a mistyped digit does not hide the real fault.
What the tool showed, and what you expected it to show.
If the code came from a label, a photo of the barcode. It helps when the printed digits and the scan disagree.

The box sends your message and nothing else. The privacy policy says how it is sent.

Buying a barcode number. We do not sell GTINs. In the USA they come from GS1 US, and elsewhere from your country's GS1 office. Once you have the number, the barcode generator makes the barcode.
Who owns a product number. We cannot look up the company behind a GTIN. Verified by GS1 shows the company that licenses it.
An Amazon order or return. We are not Amazon. The Amazon LPN checker explains what a sticker code means, but only Amazon can tell you about one unit.

Report a security problem with the site to the same address. The details are also in security.txt.
